A Watford Palace Theatre production

Brighton Beach Memoirs

Neil Simon

In a cramped family house in Brooklyn, 15 year old Eugene's mother and aunt fall out over a man, his brother loses his job, and cousin Nora threatens to run away and join the chorus. Everyone turns to Dad for advice. Meanwhile Eugene is discovering girls...

One of the most popular and successful writers of his generation, Pulitzer Prize winning author Neil Simon is best known for his comedies The Odd Couple, Sweet Charity and Barefoot in the Park. This autobiographical story is undoubtedly his best loved play. The production is directed by Jennie Darnell, former Associate Director of Hampstead Theatre, who now divides her time between theatre work and directing Eastenders.
